In the hunting grounds between The New and The Old Ladoga channels, in the coastal canes of Ladoga a lot of small game and ducks are inhabit. Frequent visitors in our neck of the woods and hares, wild boars, elks. Permits on hunting not demanding the licence on a feathery bird and an animal (and as agreed on licence hunting) are drawn by the huntsman in nearby village Kivgoda.

In Leningrad region there are coniferous – fur-tree and pine, and also a lot of mixed woods, with prevalence of a fur-tree, a pine, a birch, an aspen. Very often woods are boggy, and also many open bogs. In the south of this region there are oak and maple groves. Weather in region is unstable, often windy and rainy. Hunters should not use the cut weapon, use tape recorders and light devices, and also make thrifty use of wood grounds – not to burn out a grass on glades, meadows and glades.
